Our Reconciliation Action Plan Vision

St Leonards Primary School values respect, resilience and readiness in all that we say and do. We embrace, celebrate and acknowledge diversity through collaboration and with shared responsibility. We recognise that reconciliation is an ongoing journey to restore and repair harm to relationships. 

We recognise and respect the histories, cultures and contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians as a part of our shared national story and identity, with a special focus on our local area. Our school is located on Kaurna land and we recognise its significance in the coming together of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal peoples in the history of South Australia.

As a community we commit to embed reconciliation actions into everything we say and do. We commit to empower members of our community by developing a deep understanding of our shared place to learn together, share together, and move forward together.
